This calculator provides stain-specific treatment advice based on the chemistry of each stain type.
Treatment approach
Each stain type requires a different approach — enzyme-based removers for protein stains (blood, grass), solvents for grease and ink, and oxidising agents for tannin stains (wine, coffee). The calculator recommends the correct product, soak time, treatment method and wash temperature.
Product volume is estimated at approximately 15ml per stain for direct application.
